Year 2000 Compliance

We have recently completed Year 2000 testing and appraisals on all our products.

Tests were based on the BS DISC 2000-1 document produced by the British Standards Institution and was interpreted, for use with our product type, as follows,

Where applicable:-

· check for correct display and/or printout of dates after year 2000

· check that dates after Jan 1st 2000 can be entered and are stored correctly

· check the transition from Dec 31st 1999 to Jan 1st 2000 with both product/power on and off

· check timed functions and scheduled events operate through the year-end transition

· check transition from Feb 28th 2000 to Feb 29th 2000 and that Feb 29th 2000 can be entered

· check that the day of the week is displayed correctly in the above cases

· check that prior and post 2000 software versions are ordered correctly during any update routine

 

Statement issued : 1st March 1999

'All LightProcessor and Lightomation products are Year 2000 compliant. There will be no difference in operation or performance through the year 2000 transition or beyond. No modifications are necessary or advised in order to achieve full compliance.'
